I was talking to mom.

So I was talking with mom today about the carpet in my family room and how every stain shows. So, I had Stanley Steamer come and clean it. I was also telling her that for the most part, dirt, crumbs and whatever doesn't show, so I wouldn't have to vacuum if I didn't want to. Mom said, you know, some people vacuum even if it doesn't need to be vacuumed. To which, I responded, "That wasn't the way I was raised." She seemed to get a good laugh from that. So, I'm feeling pretty funny right now.

I bow to your braveness and funniness. That was hysterical.
