Ainsley's Cast

She got her cast put on today and just like everything "Ainsley" it is the cutest thing ever.

Her grandma Cindy got her this Minny Mouse so that she would be brave at the doctor.
She was, so the doctor put a cast on Minny too.
Of course she chose pink. is there any other color.

Grandma Janet was great and watched the other kids for me so that I got to focus all my attention on Ainsley.

He's Home! He's Home!

I can't say that Jeff had as good of a time as he usually does. He left with a respiratory and ear infection. Made for a fun flight and caused some equilibrium issues on the boat. On top of that, he got a call halfway through the trip about Ainsley's little accident. With that said, here's some shots of Alaska.

on a side note

After the park we went back to Amy's house and the kids were playing. Ainsley tripped and this is what happened .

It is a buckle fracture and she will need to be in a cast for the next 6 to 8 weeks.

So to sum up what we are going to miss and what we might.
1 She did not get to walk in the Dallas parade today.
2 She will not get to dance at the Oregon state fair.
3 No playing in water in the hottest part of the summer.
4 And I'm not sure yet but it looks like we're not going to Disney Land.

A day down by the river.

Ever since school got out, Jackson has been begging to spend time with his cousins. So yesterday we went to Amy's house and she took us the the coolest park just northeast of Hockinson. It had a super cool playground and a river.

They did this on their own.

They're laughing because we were chanting, "Kiss your cousin. Kiss your cousin."

Grant is a crackup. I don't know what he said but they all thought it was funny.

My girls.

Aren't they darling.

Veavers and Emmers

Jeff's hot wife.

Amy must have thought the water was chilly.

If I'd fallen I would have been Jeff's "cool" wife.

They were pretending to be a beaver family building a dam.

What better way end a perfect day at the park than with ice cream.

Water park

My kids are loving this new and exciting addition to our town.
This is the new water splash pad that was put in the Salem water front park. It is a lot of fun as you can see. These picturss were taken some time before we all got sick last week.

My Kids Playing with Emily's "Kids"

Emily's goats had some more babies. It's not new that they had babies as they do this every year, but how many she has now is new. 8 babies this year I think. They move so quick and they're hard to count. It's just so much fun for my kids to play with these kids and they are so cute.

They like to hide behind the wall. I would too if I was as small as them with all the coyotes and big cows around this place.

This one is my fave. He looks just like Mocha ( Emily prize winner). Too bad he's a boy and she can't show him. Can you say meat goat.

This is Mocha with Ainsley. She doesn't look like much right now, but when she's all washed and sheared she's got them all beat.

Aunt Jenny won again

Every year my sister Jenn Jennifer Jenny tries to beat out the the other aunties at getting the best gift for the kids and she is almost always successful and this year was no different.
