A long weekend at the mountain

At the Huckleberry Inn after breakfast.

When we left the Huckleberry we went on the 2 mile hike around Trillium Lake.

My little man was running ahead of us and stopped dead in his tracks and started laughing..
Ha Ha Ha look mom this tree has a butt on it.

Our poor old dog made it all the way around the lake. Much to everyone's surprise.

This is on the Zig Zag River just feet from the front door of the cabin.

Emery's favorite seat.

The next day we went up to Timothy Lake. So Jeff could check out the camp ground.

Old Friends

We had the joy of seeing some of Jeff's old law school friends today. Brett, Erin and their beautiful daughter Claire were in town for a few days and were able to squeeze in a barbecue at Diana's house with some of the old gang.
This is the Egusa's, Brett, Erin and Claire.

Claire and Emery playing in the sandbox.

Trish's girls and Ainsley. It's been almost 3 years since the last time they played with each other.

Can you believe this is Kenji. I am just shocked at how big he is.

This is who I think of when you say Kenji.

And look at him; he's so grown up.
Oh and of course his mom Kalei looking as stunning as ever. Ray looks good too.

Yes another pic with me and My baby.

Day 8 Going Home

I had been asking all week " how close are we to the ocean? Can we go see it?"
So after we checked out of the hotel Jeff took me to see the Ocean

This house was so amazing I just can't even get over it.

This is the street side.

And Jackson lost another tooth just before we had to get on the plane.
Look at that Funny face.

Day 7 Our last day at the parks

We started our last day at California Adventure. I had not gotten to ride Soarin over California or the Grisly River Run yet so we had to get that done.

on the board walk they have games like what you have at a fair and Ainsley won this Dumbo.
Us with the board walk in the background.

If the home owners association would let us this would soooo be in my backyard.

And back over to Disneyland to get the things we didn't do yet done over there and do some things for the third and fourth time.

Ainsley had been waiting all week to see Tinker Bell. So we got our tushys over to Pixie Hollow

I love that there are photographers at all these places so you don't miss any of it.
Emery hanging out waiting for her sister.

Ainsley telling Silver Mist all about her cast.

Me, Ainsley, Jackson and Silver Mist.

Jackson telling Tinker Bell all about the fact that he's been trained and is now an official Jedi Padawon. She did such a good job at listening.

Us with Tink.

After all that girl stuff Jeff, Cindy and the Girls went back to Small World. While Jackson and I went over to Star Tours. It was the first time this week for me but it was like the fourth for Jackson and he was not tired of it at all.

After all of that Cindy offered to take the Kids and get room service so we could go have a grownup dinner out just the two of us.. So of course we said yes and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! while running and laughing down the hall as fast as we could.

this is just outside the restaurant

We went to the Blue Bayou. You know that restaurant that you can see when you first get on the Pirates of the Caribbean. That's the one. It was so cool and I think I need to see that part of the country for real now. It was super romantic and such good food too.

Our last Picture in Disneyland.
But what a picture right? We were kissing but the Photographer was taking so long that it made us feel all weird with all the people around.
