Friday Flashback - Prom Night Edition

I first have to say, for some reason this post makes me extremely uncomfortable. I don't think it's because of the ex boyfriend or the fact that my dresses are all hideous and skanky. I just don't know, maybe it's because I wasn't able to find one of Jeff's. Anyway, whatever it is... here they are.
1994 Grant Union High School in John Day. What ever made me think a banana clip was ok for prom?

1995 Aloha High School in Aloha. Let's start with the tragedy of my date's cowboy faze and the reason he didn't accompany me to my own prom not to mention the fact that I look like a stripper but someone asked my date if I was one.

Ah yes. My prom 1995 Hilhi in Hillsboro. Yes, I was wearing purple tights. But in my defense my date was waring a purple tux and purple was big that year. Every other dress was purple. For what ever reason these are the only pictures I have left of me and my date.

Judging by the whitness of my skin, there is no chance of melanoma here.

A bad reaction!

As my sisters know, having Jackson vaccinated the first time was one of the most traumatic moments of motherhood for me. I thought for sure that I was poisoning my baby and I cired the whole way home from the doctor's office. After five years of vaccinations and two years for his sister, I was getting ok with it.
But yesterday we needed to get all the ones he would need for school and, well, he had a reaction. The doctor said it's not bad, but with the way I am about my kids and their health, it has felt a lot worse.

Jackson And Ashlynn's Birthday Party

First we had a Cake for Jackson

And we had one for Ashlynn. I know it may look like a pink sombrero but it was meant to be a bow.

She had already had two cakes and at this point the novelty of cake had worn off for Ashlynn.
I think She likes the giraffe
Thanks for the guns Bergs. Its just what Jackson needed.

Thank you Grandma Janet and Papa Fishy it is just what I wanted.

The Weekend

We had a nice weekend at the coast. After spending some time at the farm we went the Seaside and played around there for the afternoon on Saturday. We also got to see our old neighbors Deb and Jane which is always nice. We miss them so much and wish we could see them more, But all and all a good time
